New Ross - Hurshel J.
Harden, 73 of New Ross died at 10:47 a.m Tuesday in Winona Memorial
Hospital, Indianapolis. Mr. Harden was a truck driver, retiring in 1983.
He was a member of the Teamsters Local 710. He was educated in
Bloomington schools. He was born Jan 3, 1924 at Bloomington to Lowell
and Este Penrose Harden. Survivors include two daughters, Lois Byers of
Veedersburg and Sara Wrede of New Ross; two sons, Hurshel W. of Dana and
William L. of New Ross; a stepdaughter, Janet Lenfant of Smyrna, Tenn; a
brother, Steve of Naples, Fl; a sister, Dean Harden of Albuquerque, NM;
several grandchildren and several great grandchildren. A wife, Ruth a
sister and a daughter are deceased. Private services are scheduled to be
in Porter Funeral Home at Jamestown with the Rev. Arthur Thomas
officiating. Burial will be in New Ross Cemetery at a later date.
